Ranger Family In Need
Curtis “Flint”
Barclay, former National FCF Scout of the Royal Rangers Ministries,
called me early this morning from a Reno, NV hospital to tell me that
his family were awaken by a fire in the family home. All of his family
were injured and burned and his grandmother Donna passed away in the
fire. His father and mother, Todd and Carla and he (Curtis) are being
transported to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. His brothers
Zachery and Nolan and his sister Makiah are being transported to the
Shriners Hospital in Sacramento, CA. His brother Jeremey was treated in
the Reno hospital and released.

This is an update on
the Barclay family. I visited Todd Barclay and he gave me an update on
his family. Makiah (age 10) had undergone skin graft surgery, and would
need more. Curtis (age 19) may need to have skin graft surgery. Jeremey
(age 17) is doing fine and is staying with family and friends. Zachery,
(age 13) Nolan, (age 8) Todd, and his wife Carla are healing and in good
spirits. Todd said to me that his faith in God was as strong as ever
and that God had always blessed him and his family and he knew God would
continue to bless them. Their stay in the hospital will be long and
their biggest need when they are released will be money. So, with the
approval of our District Superintendent, we have set up a Royal Rangers
Benevolence Fund for the Barclay family. You may give by check or money
order (made payable to AGNCN, write Barclay Family Royal Rangers on
memo line) or you may give cash or use a credit card MC or VISA (credit
card form below) and mail to: Royal Rangers Ministries, 6051 South
Watt Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95829-1304.
