What is Royal Rangers?
Royal Rangers is a boy’s ministry established to reach, teach, and keep boys for the Lord Jesus Christ. Our chief aim is to instruct, challenge, and inspire our boys in the areas of Bible doctrine, Christian service, moral conduct, and basic beliefs of the church through interesting activities the boys enjoy. All boys ages 5-17 are invited to join.
What about the Leaders?
Southpointe Christian Center’s Royal Rangers outpost has capable, caring, men and women as leaders for the boys. They are men and women who have proven themselves as godly leaders in the church. These leaders, called Commanders, have a love for the children and youth and care deeply about their future. Commanders are asked to attend special training classes and camps for Ranger leaders to sharpen their skills in ministering to boys. Most of our leaders have children or grandchildren in the Ranger outpost.
How do I become a Royal Ranger?
To become a Royal Ranger you need to attend three Royal Ranger meetings and let the commander know you want to join in with over one million boys from around the world. Next you will need to order a Royal Ranger manual and get a uniform.

To begin advancements you will need to learn the Royal Rangers Pledge, Code, Motto, and the Golden Rule. After that you simply follow the directions in your manual and work with your commanders to advance your best rate of speed.

Workbooks are available for all boys. You’ll have the time of your life!! If you have further questions please contact the church or the Commanders at 916-423-1096

Father Son Campout October 16-17 Bodega Bay, CA
What a campout. We had 47 campers at this two day event. On Friday the Rangers and Dads arrived, set up tents, and started the Ladder Ball competitions. After the spectacular Spagetti dinner cooked by Commander Debbie, we had a great time at the council fire started with a flint rock and steel by Commander Daniel. Devotions and smores topped off the night. Saturday was consumed with competitions: BB Gun, Knife and Hawk throwing, and Ladder ball. Swimming, playing on the beach, shell hunting, football and frisbee occupied spare time. The Lord blessed us with great weather and a lot of dads. Special thanks to Jamie Garcia, Pastor Hackney, Pastor Tim, Napolian Montabon and Kevin Foster. Wait till next year.
